    Running lamps...

    My running lights on my 06 WRX wont turn off when the car is turned off. neither will the tail lights...or the side markers. Any suggestions?

    I read the manual(s) cover-to-cover whenever I bring a new car home. It's getting harder with increased complexity (longer manuals), but I still do it.

    The manual explains that the switch on the steering column in the middle on top activates the parking lamps.

    The switch was broken and stuck in the on position. boooooo.

    It's rarely used. I wonder if someone removed the cover to the steering column where the switch is mounted for some other reason and damaged the switch.

    Maybe. I got the car with 29k on it so there could of been something done that i didnt know about. I never use the switch so...I just clicked it back over into the off position and i'm good to go!
