My gauges and center console dont light up anymore. Is the fuse under the hood? Or is there a fuse box in the interior somewhere as well?

Any recent installs? Is the dimmer turned down?

No recent installs and the dimmer is not turned down. I checked my fuses last night under the hood but I didn't really see anything resembling interior or what I thought might be the backlights for the dash and center console. It was also just a brief glance because I was in the middle of a date and didn't really have time to trouble shoot the problem, and I didn't want to get up early this morning to look at it. So I'm just trying to to figure out what it could possibly be.

    Check the inside fuse.

Oh, and the real question is.....did you get laid?

You mean the fuse box inside the car? And no, sadly...but she might be one of those women. And if I did and didn't call her, as per my usual dates, I very well might have lost my testicles.

Its been years since I was in a WRX fusebox, but if memory serves the access cover should be located on the far left side of the dash where the front of the left front door closes against the dash.

Well...I found the fuse box, but it keeps blowing the fuse. Any suggestions on where to start? This could turn out to be a pain in my ass.

    Something is grounding out.
You'll need to start opening the dash up, and look for bad wires and burnt out light bulbs. Start with the Clock, Gauge Cluster, and Radio (in that order)

It has to be a short because it keeps blowing the fuse. So....I guess I will just pull my stuff apart tomorrow.

Fixed it! It was something in my stereo that was doing it. Im so glad it wasn't something more serious.
