    Question Severe Hesitation, Please Help!

Hi there. I just registered and dont know how to use this site properly.
My Impreza TS 2002 is Hesitating and jerking in low RPM, burns more gas than usual and codes P0172 and 1137 came up.
It works fine on high speed.
I would appreciate any help in an easy understanding English.

    Front o2 sensor, +1

Pretty easy to change if you can get the old one off.

Downside: it ain't cheap.. 150-180$ for it.. And it's tight to get to, but accessible from the pass. wheelwell. Take the plastic trim cover off to access it. 22mm I believe.

    same prob

i have the same problem on '04 STI only no codes. the car jumps until turbo starts to spool and never has problem under fool load. i cleaned the MAF and visually checked for boost leaks but need to get the tool. i should also check a/f ratio. Changed plugs only because it was bout that time anyway. i have CAI but has no leaks there. also i have 3" TBE, any other suggestions?

Surfthacurl, did you ever figure out what was wrong with your car? Mine started doing the same thing yesterday. It died on the highway and now its sputtering until it spools up then its fine.
