    Installed cobb sf intake on 05 sti.

    While installing intake directions ask to remove silencer in right front fenderwell, did so and noticed recirculating valve almost sounds like an external valve. Is this normal after this type of application. Thanks for any insite.

    the bpv? But yea the intake and removal of silencer makes it much easier to hear the turbo spool up and the bpv.

    The sound of the BPV will be increased in-cabin, but it will not help the sound outside the car (like an external valve would)

    Thats correct the bpv, sorry steal learing terminology. Didn't see acronym in sticky.Thanks for the info!
