called my m8 up last week turned out the subaru was raedy to pick up , the top right cam gear had jumped ( the one closest to the hydraulic tensioner ) took the car away and the damn thing done it again in the middle of the motorway turned out the timing had jumped again ? the tensioner looked ok but my mechanic rekons when the engine is heating up the heat is causng the tensioner to come loose i had only done say 10 miles the last time this happened this time i got about 150 miles before it happened ? i have gave him another tensioner and pulley can anyone tell me if im heading the right way with this one as i dont want to be stuck in the mud again ? cheers jg.
