I have a 2002 WRX and its time for a new clutch. I have put a clutch in a few other cars but never a subaru. Does any one have any advice, suggestions, or insights that may be helpful? I dont like going into a project blind.

well the #1 thing that helped me when i first tackled my clutch job in my 96 Legacy for the first time was a haynes manual...really gave me confidence when i was done that the job was done correctly.....for the 02 WRX i also need to do a clutch (among other things)....the only advice i have for ya is dont forget the plug and the shaft that goes through the clutch fork....( i hear alot of posts about that)....but compared to some other cars....Subies are cake when it comes to trans removal....
