    Squeeling like a pig with the clutch depressed. HELP!

    So my 04 sti is making a horrible squeeling sound comin from the gear box when in nutral and the clutch is depressed. The normal tick i get when the clutch is out and in N is still thier and dosn't sound diff. Is this my clutch going? Sounds similar to wet brakes or a cerpntine belt goin bad. Gose click when i push it all the way down 2. HELP!

    It's your throwout bearing going bad. I would recommend replacing the clutch while you're in there.

    I've been getting the same sound and need to do the same thing myself.

    That's what it sounds like to me as well. A bearing going bad will lose or has lost most of it's grease and is squeeling because it's rotating metal on metal.

    Fun times.
