I went home and went to bed (work third shift). I didnt even call the insurance company yet. I am sure they will unless their is engine damage. I just got it back three weeks ago from someone pulling in front of me did 11.2 damage then. They apraised the value of the car last time at 15k (i couldnt belive it) if they do the same this time it will get fixed.

Ouch That looks like at least 6-7 k in damage. It should be covered under your comp coverage in PA since you didn't crash as a result of hitting the deer. I've hit 4 deer since moving to PA so I know how it is.

Most important is that you are ok.

You have to be careful in PA this time of year. All the deer are spooked because there are 'tards in the woods shotting at them all day. It's hunting season.

That looks like a big blow. Must have been a big one. Of course the hood is made of aluminum, I think. I hope the deer died on impact. Crap happens, but I feel like a boob when the thing ain't dead.
I work on vehicles that make 650hp and 2400ft/lbs.
