Removing Factory Heatshields, Then wrapping them?

Hey my car came from up north I'm hearing a rattingling noise comming from my heatshields. I was wondering if i removed the shields if wrapping them with heat tape would be fine, I noticed the oil filter near the headers so i'd want to do something so my oil dosent boil. Will wrapping them really hold heat in? any tips?

You can't replace shields with heat wrap. The wrap just doesn't do the same thing.
