    Floor Jack recommendation

    Hello all,

I am looking for a quality floor jack.

My Costco bought aluminum floor jack has failed on me and won't lift the car at all after less than 2 years.

I looked at Sears and all the Sears jacks seem to have pretty bad reviews. Anyone have a quality brand jack they can recommend?

This jack has been bought and sold from company to company, but it's being made in the US again. My dad has an old Walker version from when he was an auto mechanic, and it is basically perfect.

I would guess you have an older one.

I have a Craftsman Bottle Jack 5ton I believe that is as old as I am (32), and it still works great. Their products have not been so high quality recently. Go to Sears.com and read the reviews on the models they have.

I was looking at this model Omega Low Profile Service Jack — 2-Ton Capacity, Model# 29023 | Floor Jacks | Northern Tool + Equipment

The model WRX Wagone linked looks good too and Sears carries it.

Anyone else with any personal experience/recommendations?

I got this jack a few months ago, it had the best ratings I could find, and also fit under my lowered WRX. I have loved it so far, it's rock solid and seems bomb-proof. I'd recommend it to anyone.

    ATD Low-Profile Jack

Search around for prices, Amazon seems to have gone up about $50 from when I got mine, ~$220 then.
