Anyone get a CEL from exhaust?

I have an 03' WRX & it has a HKS hi power exhaust, BOV, front mounted inner cooler & am running out of ideas. I get a check engine light when I go up hills at high speeds & dont get a code when I check it. Its like it just dissapears & nobody can figure out why it comes on, I have even taken it to a few mechanics while the CEL is on & they dont get a code. Any ideas I am getting frustrated.

do you have a full turbo back exhaust? are you catless? do you have engine management?

if you answered yes, yes, and no: thats where the issue is.

also, you might want to remove the BOV and go back to a TMIC. your car will run a hell of a lot better

I bought the car this way & we dont have emission checks where I live so I never got it checked. I will look & see & thanks for the quick response. If I dont have cats, if I put some on would that take care of the issue?
