    If you can get Mobil1 5W-40 or Motul 5W-40, they'll work. Nothing wrong with 10W-40 if your winters are mild enough to allow good cold startups on 10W; if not, look at a 5W down there.

    EDIT: Just because I mention these oils doesn't mean they're the only choices; I've stopped believing in magic recipes and universal "solutions" to the oil choice issue. Any quality oil within the manufacturer's recommended viscosity range and type will work.

    Out of curiosity (I asked this question 4 years ago, never got a response...) what does your manual recommend? What viscosity ranges?
