    fuel pump wires.

    hello everyone i need some help fast!! due to my car being broken into numerous times ive decided to do a fuel shutoff switchso it can be stolen, only trouble is im not familiar with the subaru fuel system, anyone know whate wires are the fuel pump wires? thatnk you so much, heres some pictures of were i would assume it would be

    Dude, take out the back seats the trunk carpet. You will see two oval plates... Standing behind the car looking forward remove the one on the right hand side... your fuel pump and tank opens there... you will see the pipes and wires... from there you can trace them to where you see the pics above... good luck!

    It's in the trunk. I was corrected as well, think the 06-07 are a little different.

    i got it all installed, but now the cheack engine light is on??? what is happening, how could this happen?

    Did you get a code ? Have EM ? I reset my ECU when I installed mine. Read somewhere it was recomended.

    Sorry, didn't realize you didn't have EM. Take it down to Autozone for a code and then look it up on here or post it for reply's.

    Please no body post wire colors on the forum, it will just amke it easier for people to steal our cars. If you want a better way to do this PM me and I'll tell you how I wired mine. It is also terrible to splice in an additional 15 feet of wire...

    There is a better way.
