    Yes, it's the same as the silencer delete mod. Some people call it the snorkel delete mod, hence snorkelectomy.

    believe it or not what you guys are saying actually work i ran a tank last week were i was my normal driving shifting at 4g and this week ive took the advise and started shift at 2 grand and going into 5th gear at 35mph and believe it or not ive gone a 110 miles some highway and ive only barely used 1/4 of a tank so maybe you guys are right it is my driving
    i live my life a 1/4 mile at a time

    Good to hear, although 5th gear at 35mph seems a little excessive. Does the car bog down from the low RPMs at all? Probably not considering you have a 2.5L. I'm used to my 2.0.

    manual says shifting @ 2500rpm is teh best milage.

    it bogs down a little bit the Rmps drop to 11 hundo and as long as im on a flat piece of road im fine but if i hit a hit from a flat i ussally do a piecefull rpm matched shift to third to get up the hilll but i was surprised that you could even go into 5th at 35mph

    How is it with the sti's though can you hit your 6th gear over drive with out bogging down??????

    I don't use 6th gear below 50

    I dont shift into 6th gear until 58-60mph. It's right around 3100 rpm when i shift. I usually shift around 3000 at all gears, and average 22-25 mpg
