    stock radiator, why is it leaking?

    yeah so i opened my hood the other day and found fluid all over. i heard that they tend the leak after awhile. it=s thois true? also sould i drop in a aftermarket one or a oem one? shawn

    here ya go i dont know if this will help any but it answers your question about if its true or not....and if you dont have a bigger turbo our any kinda major upgrade to your car i would just get a stock one again but its up to you?

    Although seam failures do occur this makes no difference now if yours has failed anyway. I prefer authentic Subaru parts and recommend avoiding imitation parts. Is the car still under warranty? If you're paying anyway it's your choice.

    no its not still under the wan. i only have a cb exhaust on it. i took it in the get the clutch replaced then picked it up drove it home popped the hood and bam. there was dried coolent on my pully cover, pully, batt. ect....i was pretty up set. i know its leaking from wear the seam from the sids meets the top part. i was just wandering if anyone else has had this happen. i will prolly just buy another oem one.

    Seam failure is a common fault but make sure it is not the hose as there is a TSB on that also.
