    cant get over 10 psi of boos on 2002 wrx

    cant get over 10 psi of boos on 2002 wrx.

    thats what the gauge says.

    i feel the car pulls ok & i guess the gauge is not working right.
    just for the hack of it, can it be awastgate malfunctioning?

    ^^^^ any mods that you did or that were on the car when you got it??? you can check the hoses coming off the boost control solenoid(assuming you dont have a MBC) and make sure that there are no cracks or anything and maybe check to see if you have a restrictor pill. I had kind of the same problem with my 02 i was only getting 7psi and it turned out to be my BCS replaced it and now it works like a charm
