    turbo smoking after oil change!!

    hi i have an 02 wrx with a catback exhaust and i changed my oil today i put RedLine Motor Oil in it and it was a complete success so a few hours later i go for a spin to see if my car runs a little smoother so i come back home and i see smoke coming out of my hood so i pop the hood and smoke is just pouring from my turbo and it just smells like hot metal can anyone tell me whats wrong with my Subie? thanks

    no i didnt but even if i did it wouldnt be smoking from the turbo... anyway i think it might be an exhaust leak or somethin i used some seafoam recently and smoke was coming from the same area. i think it might be an uppipe leak or somethin

    Sorry.. didn't notice that you had said turbo.

    Any other problems? Power loss, etc?

    a little power loss but it might just be because i just hit the 100,000 mile today but thats about it
