    Unhappy Wastegate solenoid code

Ever since I installed the TurboXS turbo back exhaust on my 08 WRX, I can't accelerate through four or fifth gears very hard or I get a loud "POP" and the "check engine" and traction control lights come on and then the "cruise" light flashes. As long as the lights are on, I can accelerate as much as I want, but it is very annoying and I can't use my cruise unless I reset it. The code says that there has been a wastegate solenoid malfunction. Any Ideas???

What do I need to do to stop? The only thing I changed was the exhaust. I have a cold air intake coming and a Hallman boost controller. Is there a way to program the system to accept it?
