    Pls help with bulb removal!

I got some new philips visionplus bulbs for my '03 wrx. This is the first time the bulbs are getting changed. Getting the left hand side bulb out was simple. I simply squeezed the serrated edge, pulled out the connector, and unscrewed the retainer clip. However, on the right side, it seems like no matter how hard I squeeze and pull, the darn connector just doesn't budge. It feels like I'm going to break the connector if I have to pull harder. Anybody have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
