    Annoying Coolant Leak

Hi guys I am a proud owner of a 2001 subaru impreza WRX, lately I have been having an annoying coolant leak. the car has in a new radiator fitted recently. I took it back to the garage that replaced the radiator yesterday guy said the bottom hose seemed to be slack. he tighten and said if it happens again bring it during the week. Has anyone had any problem like this, it leaks and settles on the left side on the guard all the time. Car has in perrin up-pipe and downpipe, ecu was flashed car runs 17 psi.

Hows the level of the overflow tank? Its not over flowing is it?

If not hoses, or a cracked radiator. Possibly a leaky water pump.

I have the same problem. when I run it like its ment to be run i get coolant dripping on the left subframe area(below coolant bottle). i think its comming from the coolant bottle cuz the bottom of the hood is damp too. im still trying to figure out how to fix it. but i will post here if i do find anything. i'm running 17 psi also, up/down pipe w/vf34. new water pump and fresh commettic gaskets w/ARP studs.

Not sure how the hell it happened to be honest kinda of a mystery. Car is lowered but i am extra cautious driving over road bumps, kinda of a mystery if ya ask me. But it is still under warranty thankfully, although don't think a dent is covered, LOL.

Don't have anymore cusco stuff for sale by the way.

have you pressure tested the radiator? There are special devices that basically look like a radiator cap attached to a piece of tubing attached to a bicycle pump. You can pump up the internal pressure of the system and then lift the car and look for leaks. If you do this, make sure you do it when the car is stone cold and when it is up to operating temps, that way the thermostat is open and closed, helps isolate the problem.

Thanks for all the help guys, got the car back today, it was the dent in the bottom. However the radiator specialist has said that if it happens again I will need to buy a new one.
