    How long will a can of brake fluid last?

    After the seal has been broken...

    I know it absorbs moisture. Does this still happen even if you put the cap back on properly?

    Brake fluid will pull moisture from the air w/ the cap on unless you get an airtight seal. But IME w/ a good seal, it will be a very slow process and should last quite some time. (at least a year, if not longer)
