    brake noise

So i just bought an 2005 sti and the brakes make a really loud squealing noise, i called the guy that i bought it from and he told me that there are racing pads on there. Is it normal for those to sqeak really loud? i also looked at the pads they arent worn down to bad, they still have alot of like in them. Any ideas?

    Hello, Welcome to ClubWRX!

When do they squeal?? When your using the brakes or not? Just when going round corners?

Even if there is some pad left you might want to change them anyway.
