    Smells like burning oil

    I get a burnt oil smell. Doesn't always smell though. It will stink for a minute or so, then doesnt. Sometimes it doesnt smell at all.

    Where should i look?

    Any ideas as to where i might be leaking?

    could be, im really not sure.

    assuming it isnt the clutch. where would be key spots to look if it is indeed oil??

    See if there's oil dripping on your exhaust from the turbo or somewhere else. That's the only thing hot enough to really give you a burning smell.

    Any update on the burning oil smell? My 2005 smells like oil burning on the exhaust manifold when I come to a stop after being on the highway. It only lasts for a minute. I have looked but see nothing.
