The rear bolt on the diff is just a 1/2 inch.

use your 1/2 inch ratchet without a socket

    Hijack thread alert:

Ummm, what type of oil should I get for my car? Its an 07 wrx and it only has 5000 miles on it so the first oil change I got was normal oil to break it in. My next change I'd like to go synthetic, any ideas?

    mobil 1 5w 30 is a pretty safe choice.

Mobil one works great and you can get it cheap in 5quart containers that are just perfectly sized for our 4.8l oil capacity
