    Whats up with the A/C

Whats up with my A/C getting warm whenever the gear is not engaged? Any way around this to make it cold all the time? It gets really annoying on a hot day at a stoplight. Seems like even when the gear is engaged, if im not using any throttle there is no A/C.

Sounds like either your compressor is going or you need the freon recharged...

It will help if you set the controls to Recirculate the air too...easier to cool air thats already cooler in the cabin, than warmer air outside...

Well any of them its not the gear its the A/C, if my throttle is not pressed the air goes warm but as soon as I rev it gets cool again

i've had the same thing happen to me, except with the heater on cold mornings, when im idling at a light it gets cold, and when i give it some gas it heats up. I don't know if it was a coincidence, but I was low on coolant and when i filled it up the heater worked fine

It sounds like the compressor only engages when the motor is above idle. Check the belt condition and tension with the car off. With the car on and the A/C on, observe the compressor clutch and see if it engages normally while the car is idling.
