Exclamation Buying VF34 within the week?

I've some questions about the IHI VF34. I'm hoping to place an order before the week is up.

    1. Is the VF34 ball-bearing or not? Many say it is, and many say it isn't.
    2. Why is there so much of a price variance between vendors? Some sell brand new for $850, while others charge upwards of $1500. Or, are these two different models of VF34?

Just throwing this out there. Any and all responses and ideas are appreciated. -thanks in advance...

Search "ball bearing VF34" and threads like this pop up:

As for the price difference, buy the vendor, not the turbo.

I know the difference between the VF39 and VF34. Is there a difference between some VF34 and other VF34 models? Does that explain the incredibly broad price range?

I cannot explain the price difference, but it'd make an interesting question to pose to a vendor.

The link also explains whether a VF34 is a ball bearing design. A VF34 is a VF34, no variants exist that I know of.

Before buying from a vendor it's a good idea to get impressions from other users about that store, it might save some grief.
