    what kind of oil should i run?

    i just bought a 2004 sti w/ a new shortblock,turbo,timing belt, and turbo. the engine only has about 250 miles on it and i was told not to run synthetic in until about 3000 mi, is this true or should i switch to synthetic right now? if it is true what is the benifit of doing this?

    i use amsoil... ive used syn oil since my first oil change

    how many miles on your car right now? any problems? was it runing regular oil when you bought it?

    i have like 31k miles on my stage 2 sti, 38k i think on the wrx the wife has and like 8l on the stage 6 sti

    0 problems

    i bought each one of them new and yes they did have regular oil in them and i switched oils after 1k miles
