I had this problem when I got out of my car one day, I thought I was imagining it for a little bit. I then went back outside, cause I could hear it from my apartment.

It ended up being the "chirper" for the alarm. On my MY07, it is directly behind the middle grill. It looks like a little cylinder type thing, like a nickel but thicker.

I fixed it by taking the middle grill piece off and then just ****ing with it (moving, shacking, hitting, unplugging, plugging, until it stopped.

    Haven't had a problem since.
