    Idle Question

    My 03' WRX lately has been idleing a little above 1k RPM when i start it in the morning then after about 3 min dropps down to around 650, not a huge concern but was wondering if there is a simple answer for this...besides that the car runs perfect, and i dont live in extreme weather cond..... santa barbara CA

    Mine has done that from the day I bought it. It's just going through it's warm up procedure I believe. Also, if I touch the gas to rev it before it drops on it's own, it will return to 650 instead of the higher RPM it was at before I touched the gas.

    i noticed that too, i touch the gas and it dropps, just wondering and makin sure i wasnt the only one thanks
