    Those were the most "direct" for the lights. If I get a chance tonight, I'll capture the entire process and post it.

    i dont know if you solved the problem yet or not. but if im correct you have to open your drivers door and hold the lock and unlock button for 3-4 sec.

    my 02 had this problem, and i believe thats what had to be done. if it doesnt fix it, try another combination of the 2 buttons.

    Same here

    Has there been any progress on this issue? I just bought my 03 WRX about a month ago and the lights do not flash on it like they are supposed to either. Glad to see I am not the only one.

    Sorry for the extra post, did some more research and found out that 02 and 03 models without an alarm don't flash the lights. I must have no alarm, still learning my rex
    SOOO, now I am wondering if I can take the voltage from the horn honk to enable a park light flash instead

    They're supposed to flash? Because when I got mine, the guy had lost the keyfob but I asked the dealer and they told me my car had the alarm so I bought another fob and they programmed it but no lights flashing, just interior lights up and it honks.
