    I know ive heard that they are bad to have. Mine actually came with the car when i bought it and ive been planning on switching it for a short ram.

    K i will go try that. Hopefully it is just the maf and o2 sensors.

    a short ram isn't doing you any favors. It just means the air entering your intake is even warmer than it would be with a "cold" air intake. The reason most people warn against a cai with an otherwise unmodified car is because it can mess up the maf and make the car run too lean. The ecu comes rich from the factory anyway, but you can make your own decisions on what to do. For a streetcar, water ingestion is not typically an issue.
