    It's just the way the tranny handles staying in gear at higher rpm's with boost and then letting off the gas all the sudden. Most wrx's do this and it's rather normal. If you want to prevent it, don't go that high into rpm's without shifting (make the upshift, or go into neutral) or just let the clutch out slower.

    Yeah use the USC. I used to use lucas in domestic tranny's, never again. I have used this concoction in all sorts of non subi trannys.

    i have the same problem bucking but it happnes to me in low rpms and only in 1st/2nd gear. i have 05 wrx stage 1. dont remember it happening when it was stock. it seams like its getting worse so i gotta keep an eye on it. any ideas? i'll let u guys know if i find anything.

    I experience this as well... it seems like it might be spiking, possibly in third and higher, might have to do with the higher boost that is allowed in 3rd, 4th, and 5th, can't remember if that happens in first and second for me though... I think I had noticed it in 3rd, the funnest gear so far with my fairly stock setup...

    The only other car I've ever had with high torque was a automatic supercharged v6. So i couldnt run into this prob.

    Def something i can avoid when I'm careful. Just noticed it and figured id ask.
