    Help!! Turbo Stopped Engaging!

    I had my 2003 wrx for about 4 months now..everything was all dandy then today out of no where my turbo stopped engaging, it would stop at 0 on my turbo gauge and the loud scream Is no longer present..my warranty covers any damages to the turbocharger, but i was wondering if anybody knew exactly what is going on with it and i can do anything to fix it..PLEASE HELP!!!

    check all of your boost lines

    what are your mods ?

    ok so my car is bone stock too 02 its pretty much doing the same thing as yours but today for a little it went back to normal, anyone got an idea, and were are the boost lines?

    Did you check the turbo clutch?

    hey guys i have a similar problem.i have a 04 sti all stock.i was on the eway today and noticed that my turbo only reads .05 bar.when i got the car it always read .1 bar which my guess is like 15psi(i might be wrong)
    basically my car spools less than half way til redline.and the cel came on.this was all at night so i didnt have the time to check the codes any ideas?has new oil,new oil filter.just reached 33k miles.i did drain my battery and replced it being that my brother left my parking light switch on.i cant think of any other info.hopefully you guys can help.

    Either that or maybe the relay for the switch went.

    If you can't help, don't lead someone in the wrong direction intentionally.


    How loud was the turbo prior to the no boost situation? On a stock car, you can barely hear the turbo spooling.

    on my sti i could hear the turbo boosting but not that loud.thats having radio off windows up.it still make the same spool like noice no louder than before just 0.05 bar instead of 0.1.somebody told me it has to do with the maf. and to try to replace it.i did forget to mention i bought the car with an aem intake but now replced it with stock unit.i have no clue.........
