egt goes "crazy" after clutch install

    i got egt (autometerbrand).

since ive installed clutch few days ago my egt needle acts like crazy - up and down more like boost the egt. . .

i think the probe that located in the outlet was damaged during clutch install.

could it be? and if so, can i be sure its the probe and not the gauge or electric problem?

    tx

it sounds like the probe, because if it was the gauge it would read 0 or some other low number all the time

    well,

    got nib probe kit.

the dam gauge is still acting.

i guess its the gauge after all.

    it was autometer brand.

the only thing i got left to do is to check wiring again & if not, buy anew gauge.

    tx
