    Changing 05 Sti Fuel Filter

    does anyone have instructions on how to change my in tank fuel filter or know of a website or write up thanks.

    do you mean the one attached to the fuel pump?

    scoobymods.com has a couple, it's pretty easy. just be careful with the fuel tank sendin float, if it gets banged around too much your gauge will read incorrect.

    yea i just called the local subaru dealer and they said that the 05 sti fuel filter doesn't need to be change, because its a screen.

    A lot of cars are going this direction, but I'm not sure I buy it. I mean, doesn't the screen eventually get clogged and break down? I guess it's a good thing I'm not an engineer.

    most likely, when i go to upgrade my fuel pump, im going to take a look at it and see whats up with it

    how odd, there's a screen before the pump but there's also a fuel filter after the pump in the tank.

    when you upgrade your fuel pump it will come with a nice, new, pretty screen
