    loud shifting noise

    hey. iv noticed that when i shift from 1st to 2nd, there is a loud BOOM noise. is this from hitting the gas TOO hard? i was just curious why it makes that loud noise. :] in all my friends WRX's, it does the same thing.

    That would be the rear diff hitting your undercarrige. Shift slower or get some TiC bushings.
