    Too Much Coolant

I wasn't paying attention and filled my coolant like 3 inches above the "fill" line. Is this going to be a problem? Should I attempt to get some out?

The excess will overflow out and leave a puddle on the street when it gets warmed up. You can always siphon some out to prevent spillage.

Thanks for the answers. I have one more question. Besides from making a mess, will the overfill harm my car in any way?

At the worst, depending on where your overflow hose pours out the coolant, you'll end up with some coolant splashing around inside the engine bay. Actual damage? None.
