    Too much oil?

    Just like the title says...is it bad for the engine/turbo/car to have too much oil in the car? (over the "F" dot on the oil dipstick?)

    yup to much oil could blow a seal. why how many quarts of ail did you put in?

    Say ...1/4 over the hole where the Full marker would be?? I dunno why but I ended up pouring a whole jug in (5qt) I think? I got distracted...and I'm kinda lazy to drain some of it back out...

    Actually ...the oil just about lines up on the where the dipstick portion starts to curve (if you know what I mean)

    its bad to have too much oil... try staying out of the high rpm's until u get it out

    if it was a gallon jug, then it was only 4qts... and it shouldnt be that high

    eh...it was a 5qt jug. I use it on my prelude. My prelude takes 5 jugs...when I changed both the prelude and wrx yesterday..my mind automatically dumped the whole jug. ok...i just drained it out now and the oil level is a "tad" over the 2nd dot. is that better now? i feel better now.

    but here's another out of the blue question. is the coolant level (in the reservoir tank) suppose to fluctuate? like after i've driven...the level goes up...and when the car is cooled down (like overnight) the coolant level drops?
