Jerk put regular in my car!!

Alright so heres the deal, I had a quarter tank of gas with 93 octane and when I went to fill up the jerk put regular in my tank. Im worried because my pdx maps are tuned for 93. Is my car alright? I put it a bottle and a half of octane booster which is good for at least 9 gallons.

Just take it easy on the car and top it off with high octane when you get a chance. Sounds like an honest mistake.

Octane booster doesn't do much at all. Look it up and you'll find out.

I had this happen, I drove very easy and stayed out of boost for one day. Didn't like it, so I drove my other car instead. I took it to my friends shop and had him drain the tank.

You should be ok if you stay out of boost. Personally, I just didn't like the idea of regular being in the tank.

God i hate these contradicting answers haha. I got on the car going to work and it pulls just as hard. I already tried syphining the gas out but i guess theres a screen in there that won't let it work. If I wanted to drain the tank where could I do it.

pull the backseat - that will let you get to the fuel pump. The fuel pump is the drop in type - pull it out - siphon away.

As soon as I saw the title I knew it was New Jersey related, I hate that stupid law in NJ, they never listen to when you tell them to put in premium,...and they always spill the gas at the end, or they dissapear forever and you have to wait for them to come back even after the pump is done pumping, i just hate it and you never know if they are writing down your card number to run their credit card fraud operations when they take your card and dissapear with it.

It's rare, but yes - sometimes. If a place is slow, and the person is nice, and they impress me, I'll toss them a few bucks. Sh(izzn)it, I tip the guy at the end of the carwash with the towels.
