Red face Component on Turbo leaking

fellas fellas... I need your help. I posted a reply to a thread about my car loosing boost, gas mileage goin down yada yada yada... well i figured id get up this morning, grabbed a bottle full of soapy water and sprayed it all around my turbo to see if I had a leak anywhere around the turbo/gaskets,... well i found the leak, its not comming from the gasket but from a component on the turbo that I have ABSOLUTELY no idea what its name is... Im posting a picture of it so that maybe one of you outstanding mechs can assist me.... when the car is idling it doesnt leak, well it bubbles MILDLY, but when I hit the throttle, oh boy, it bubbles, bad... i dont know if i can just replace that small part or if I need a whole new turbo... if anyone has any idea wut i can do, plz hit me up. good day!

    why?!

well the part is your wastegate actuator. and as far as replacing i have no idea... on the inside of your turbo at that location is the bitterfly vavle for the wastegate... i dont know for sure if it has any sort of gasket or anything. hopefully someone can pick up where i left off...

ahh ive been reading up on my little issue here n well... crap. i dont think my problem is my wastegate actuator... i just have a gnarly exhaust leak from where the wastegate actuator rod/arm connects to the turbo (the butterfly valve).... ahh i need to find out if theres any gaskets or o-rings in there or if its just jacked.

hm can't tell the best from the picture but i'd expect more carbon deposits in the area if it was leaking that bad. Can you actually feel exhaust leaking around it?

i put soapy water around that area n it bubbles, meaning i have a pretty good leak, so i guess you can say I can feel a leak yes...
