Stick with the name brands and you should be OK.. I use Valvoline fuel injector cleaner about each oil change. http://www.valvoline.com/pages/produ...asp?product=57

Gasoline has fuel system detergents in it as well.

Also be careful with how much you use. If you decide to clean them I'd see what the OEM says about cleaning them before hand. GM has gone back and forth for a long time when it comes to cleaning some of there injectors (clean but only use a little, don't clean, ok clean but only with "enter product name here").

I think i read it somewhere that if you put the wrong kind or to much that is could damage something. Or that it could throw off your reading from your sencer.

i use either Lucas products injector cleaner, or the Seafoam pour in stuff. good gas goes a long way too in keeping the build up from building up.
