    japanese vs us filters

    i found cases of the oil fuji filters online. i guess the new part number is strictly usa made
    anybody know if they are much better than the new ones? they are 89 a case vs 65 for the new us filters... or is this just a japanese is always better thing?

    how so, i have used them in the past, are they really that good?

    also i have heard good things about the mobil 1 filters. have you tried them

    PureOne recently came out on top in an SAE oil filter test.

    These studies also rate Mobil1 highly, but of course they cost a lot more.

    Do you know they had problems with the 09A filter, the replacement for the long standing AA100 (Black Oil Filter). Many people including myself have had problems with them seeping oil from the seal area after instalation. And yes I did the 2/3 of a turn after the seal contacts the surface.

    I've been using the Purolater Pure One #14460. That's what it lists out in their
    cataloging. What's the deal with the other number?
