    Man I feel like a knob. You are correct it was the steering wheel switch. I forgot about that thing, like others not sure what it is about. I had my car cleaned and they must have hit it. Thanks again, this is the right place for a quick answer. Iíll soon have more questions when my factory warranty ends.

    i ended up calling the dealership. i think they must have forgotten bout that
    or i was to excited to drive my new subaru out for a spin.
