    my turn

Well, it happened tonight at 8:30. Thanks-f'in-giving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's 14 degrees out and windy too.

I'm driving home from my brother's house. I've only got about 6 more miles to go in a 30 mile drive. Some old lady ran a red and hit me in the middle of the intersection.

THANK GOODNESS this was a slow street - only 25mph for both streets. Neither of us got hurt.

But she nailed my baby in the rear of the passenger side right on the axle. I spun around 180 degrees and then went up over the curb.

I didn't have my digital camera with me, but pretty much the rear quarterpanel, rear passenger, and front passenger doors are all FUBARed. I'm concerned that there may be significant suspension damage, considering where she hit me.

ouch.. sorry to hear that buddy. its good you're alright.

i feel your pain. i got hit also by some lady that ran a red light when driving my brother's protege5 right in the driver's side fender/bumper/front axle area... that caused some serious damage to the suspension. good luck... i hope it gets fixed back to its original condition.

    Sorry to read this ...

No one is hurt and you are not at fault (no insurance hit).

Wow, sorry to hear that...hopefully she will be repaired at godspeed and good as new (well almost good as new, gotta keep it real).

    what's with these woman drivers!?!?

Any plans to add mods since it'll be in the shop anyway?

    Thanks fellas.

Yeah, it was at relatively slow speed in a mostly residential area, so it's nothing bone crushing.

The only mod I'm planning to do with her in the shop is the new body panels mod (hopefully that's all that it needs).

Sucks. Suppose it could have been worse.

Just got the estimate faxed to me. The bill comes to $5,634.50
    Thank goodness for insurance.

They say it'll be done in a week or two.

Well after TWO MONTHS, I finally got my car back. Glad to say everything is perfect. Except the interior is really f-in dusty...in desparate need of a detail, and they left the gas tank empty.

    Bastages.

    I missed my baby.
