This happened to me also except my cruise control didn't flash. The dealer told me that I wasn't putting on my gas cap tight enough. I visited 4 times for that until they told me to set up an appointment. They found the problem. It was an evap system leak.

i got the same problem witht he cruise light & engine check light...... It started when I put my Invidia uppipe/downpipe/catless exhaust.... so it could be one of my o2 sensors and i had an exhaust leak which i just welded really quick so im gonna disconnect the negative battery and see if that fixes the problem...... if it doesn't then its really one of my o2 sensors since i dont have no cats no more......

When I put my Invidia downpipe/exhuast (catted) on I had the light problem. I got a Cobb AP, and that cured it. I prolly shoulda got the AP first, but oh well. The AP is worth the $. Very noticable difference.
