    smoke coming form engine bay

i wasn't sure where to post this, so someone can move it where it needs to be if it's in the wrong spot.

my commute to work is usually about an hour, and it's a lot of stop and go. today i got about 45 minutes into is and i started to notice white smoke coming from my hood scoop. then it starts coming from the front of my car in an amount that made me really nervous. it took me 5 minutes to pull over because people are jerks, but eventually it was coming from my front wheels as well. i finally pulled over and popped the hood, and there's a faint amount of smoke still, but nothing looks out of the ordinary. nothing smells any different, and with the car off, i could only hear a hissing noise from the drivers side, down by the block. my temp gauge (i know it's not the most accurate thing in the world) never moved, so i'm pretty sure i didn't over heat, and it was only lie 65 degrees today. any help on this would be great because i'm stumped.

uh oh... sounds like maybe an oil leak. go get that checked out immediately. you didnt just recently go catless or replace the uppipe gaskets did you? cos that will cause some smoke as it sets. otherwise, i bet you have an oring somewhere thats leaking oil. check it out.

how old is your car? Because when I first bought my wrx, when I took it for the test drive and also when I took it home, I had smoke coming from the hood scoop as well, but it was just that undercoating (dont remember what its called) that they put on. But if you car is not new, then its probably something kooyulator said.
