    replacing air filter...noobie here

    k not to sound stupid, but i need to change my air filter on my 04 sti cuz its all nasty. ive heard of K and N filters....can someone explain to me what exactly that is like what the deal with that is...and tell me if theres something better to do than just replacing my air filter with like a fram one...

    Air filter is super easy to put in! Get the K&N filter. You can get it online or get it at one of the major auto parts stores. The K&N should come preoiled and ready to be dropped in. I saw a slight improvement on my gas mileage, and a touch more power too. I realize that you have an STI and not a WRX, but I would imagine that you would see similar results to what I did.
