Go get some sleep then come back to this board and read through some of the messages. A really big help is the stickies that go over everything already (esp. the blow off valve bit).

The manual that comes with the car shows you how to check the levels of all your fluids.

If they are satisfactory, just drive your car.

Engine oil is 5w30. Gear oil (I'm assuming you're going manual?) is 75W90. Brake fluid is, er, brake fluid. The manual recommends "genuine Subaru" engine coolant, but most antifreeze/water mixes will do fine. Fill whatever you want in the windshield wiper tank.

If you're looking for brands, and kinds... well, there's a lot of personal opinions involved there. I personally use pure synthetic motor oil. I've mostly used Castrol Syntec, but I've also used Mobile 1 and lately Valvoline's synthetic (because that's what they use at the local Express Oil Change, and I've gotten lazy). They all seem to work well.

I'm about to switch my gear oil over to Redline Shockproof, but it's still in the mail. There's a TON of debate here, so do a search for gear oil and see what you find.

If you really want the good info, you're going to have to do a search and read through a bunch of stuff. Sorry.
