    Important Question about Rust and Snow.

    I've been changing the OIL from my WRX and other cars...

    Found a lot of Rust and Bolts that are white.

    What can I do about them??? Oil them??? what about the RUST spots??

    any way I can slow it down or something. I know there
    are lots of products. What works for you!!!!

    Paint

    It is a bit of a pain but depending on the bolt you can try paint. Pick up a can of rust inhibiting paint from your local parts store. I did this with the sway bar hardware on my last car after one of the bolts rusted out after 2 years (Chicago winters ) Now it has become an pre winter ritual for me to put the car on stands and touch up any problem spots. It may or may not help but since I have to change the tires anyway...
