    Personally I thought it was a huge pain. The rear diff has to be filled from under the car and there is not much room to get a bottle or funnel in there. A pump would have definitely helped.

    Plus, gear oil smells pretty unpleasant

    Yeah. Actually I forgot about that. Without a pump it will suck. I am guess I am just spoiled cuz I got it in a gun at work. I can do a diff on my car in prolly 2 minutes flat.

    Hey guys i gots a great idea here. So u take the bottle of gear oil and get a say 6ft long clear felx water line. you slip the one end over the bottles poor spout. then you stick the other end into the diff....Then you get a friend to squeeze the bottle...walla no problems fillin it from underneith. .... or atleast it worked really well for me.

    Ok so i'm a n00b is the front diff lubricated by the same fluid as the tranny?

    Yes. The tranny and front diff are both the same. They are done at the same time.
